With the blessings and support of Honorable Chairman, Shri Mahant Devendra Das Ji Maharaj, the Department of Pharmacology, Shri Guru Ram Rai Institute of Medical & Health Sciences (SGRRIM&HS) under the leadership of Dr. Shaktibala Dutta, Professor and Head of the Department, commemorated the Conclave of Research Methodologies for Paramedical students (MPT, PhD) and faculties on 16th May 2026 (Saturday), from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m
The workshop aimed to enhance the research skills of physiotherapy students, their faculty members, and other researchers.
The Principal of SGRRIM&HS, Dr. Utkarsh Sharma, graced the occasion by his presence and also delivered his pearls of wisdom highlighting the importance of research in medical field. The event was also attended by Prof. (Dr). Keerti Singh, Dean of school of Allied and Health Care.
The program included faculty sessions by Dr Manisha Bisht, Professor AIIMS Rishikesh, and institutional faculties- Dr. Shaktibala Dutta, Dr Suman Bala, Dr.Punit Ohri, Dr. Shobit Garg, Dr Pankaj Garg and Dr. Sachin Kumar. These experts delivered interactive sessions on formulation of research questions, study design, literature review, sample size calculation, biostatistics, informed consent process and principles of research ethics.
